Is there any medication I should not use before surgery?
Yes, please do not use blood thinners such as Aspirin for at least 10 days before your surgery.

Is there any food I should not consume before surgery?
Herbal teas can rarely increase bleeding. Therefore, you should not drink herbal teas a week before your surgery. The same goes for alcohol. It would be beneficial not to consume it for the last week.

What about cigarettes? Do I need to quit smoking?
We strongly recommend that you quit smoking before surgery. This will provide you with both a more comfortable anesthesia process and better wound healing.

I have medications that I use constantly. Should I buy them?
If you have a medication that you use regularly (for example, blood pressure, goiter or epilepsy), please use these medications as described by me or the anesthesiologist during the pre-operative interview. These medications can usually be taken with a little water on the morning of surgery.

I feel like I have the flu. Will this prevent my surgery?
Illnesses such as flu, flu, cold and herpes are obstacles to the operation. If such a situation occurs, be sure to let your doctor know.

Do you mind if I wear make-up when coming to the surgery?
Female patients should not wear make-up, nail polish, hair spray or gel when coming to the hospital.

Does it prevent the surgery if female patients are on their menstrual period?
The fact that female patients have a menstrual period before the surgery does not constitute an obstacle to the surgery.

Should male patients shave?
If men who will have nose surgery have a mustache or beard, it is beneficial to shave them before the surgery. This will help us treat you more easily during the surgery and will make it easier to care for the area after the surgery.

Will I need a companion?
Choose a companion for yourself who will give you positive energy. Organize your transportation for after surgery. You cannot return home alone after rhinoplasty. It would be good if there was someone to help you for the first week.

What should I pack in my hospital suitcase?
In your suitcase for the surgery, there should be clothing that has a front zipper or buttons that you will wear when you leave the surgery. Do not wear jewelry such as rings or necklaces and do not bring valuables with you.

What should I do to sleep more comfortably at night?
We recommend you take a warm shower and go to bed early the evening before the surgery. Try not to think about the surgery as much as possible while lying down.

It is natural for you to experience stress as your surgery day approaches. The most effective way to deal with this stress is to clear the question marks in your mind.
